FUTURE OF WORK AND HOW REMOTE WORKING, FREELANCE PLATFORMS WOULD AFFECT WORK IN AFRICA

Basically, i think we're having an interesting time in our history and our economy around the future of work. In Africa, the question is;

ARE WE AIMING TO CONVEY NEW SETS OF TECHNOLOGIES AND EXPERTISE THAT WOULD FASTEN AND MAKE WORK EASIER OR WOULD EVEN MAKE IT WORSE AS WE LOOK FORWARD?

A freelancer is said to be a person who works as a writer, designer, performer, or the like, selling work or services by the hour, day job, etc., rather than working on a regular salary basis for one employer. A freelance expertise do have a unique perspectives and can see things in a different way than full time employees which makes many companies treat them as a replaceable and inexpensive labour tool separately from their culture.

We should all know that the freelance platforms are a meeting place where qualified and skilled freelancers from anywhere in Africa can find work and get payment. Ideally, freelance platforms (e.g. Proville, Nairalance, Asuqu, 54artistry, etc.) create an avenue for freelancers to display their profile, work experience and make it possible for employers to give a project work. Therefore, future work in freelancing would serve as a positive influence to the business owners. How?
Here are the reasons why Freelance platforms would affect work in a positive way as regards Africa continent.

1. It serves as an avenue for employers to take advantage of hiring talented individuals based on their work descriptions.

2. It builds productivity and mutually beneficial relationship between freelancers and employers.

3. Many of these freelancers are eager to work with startups that can work flexibly, giving entrepreneurs a valuable pipeline for cost effective expertise.

4. Business owners believed that constructing a carefully written, insightful, error-free piece of copy requires some time and quiet to get one head down, hence, they tend to hire freelancers in any platform to make excellent research (as they are free from distractions) for the growth of their business or company.

In conclusion, it is recommended for employers to choose the right candidate for a particular project after bidding by various freelance expertise so as deliver good and quality research work.

If you dig deep and keep peeling the onion, artists and freelance writers are the leaders in society - the people who start to get new ideas out.(Allan Savory)
